Retro was inspired over a roaring fire and a few glasses of wine. Best friends, Molly and Megan were both working jobs in the makeup industry, and were tired of the colorless droning of working for “the man”. They shared a mutual distaste for today’s average salon environment, full of uncomfortable rooms and judgmental eyes. Over the second bottle of wine, they wished there was a place where women could go to be themselves. Where the masks come off and their inner tigress could shine. A studio where everyone could come together, feel beautiful, share champagne and become old friends. Over a third bottle of wine, Molly and Megan decided that if this dream studio were to exist, they would need to take it upon themselves to create it. However, they were a bit too tipsy to manage the details, and so they slept on it. The very next day, they met for mimosas and brunch. The plan was set into motion and they began construction on what would become Retro Studio.

Since their dream came to fruition, Retro started to create itself. As amazing women were captured by the Retro vision and joined the team, the repertoire of services offered grew. From blowouts to facials and everything in between, Retro is now a full service salon, and did we mention they have a full wine and beer bar?
